Hello! Welcome to the school year!

 

I want to take a moment to introduce myself.  I was born and raised near Fairbanks, Alaska: I moved to Southern California just after I graduated from High School and I am happy to call California home.  I have a huge interest in everything pertaining to science and earned my degree in Biology.  I love being in nature: at the beach, camping, hiking, anyway that I can get outdoors!

 

This year in 6th grade STEM students will complete two units introducing and studying Design and Modeling, and Automation and Robotics. 

 

In STEM Elective students will complete three units called Medical Detectives, Energy in the Environment and Green Architecture.  Additionally, students will be completing a Personal Investigation Project: which will be a topic of their choice.
