Dear Beverly Vista Community:
I would like to introduce myself as the new assistant principal at Beverly Vista. For the last 5 years I have worked at the district office as a Teacher on Special Assignment and as the Coordinator of Special Projects & Professional Development. Prior to that, I served as an elementary and middle school teacher at Beverly Vista for many years. I am very excited to be returning to BV and eager to take on this new leadership role as the assistant principal.
As a K-8 assistant principal, my role will be to provide support, assistance, and resources to the staff, students, and parents. I believe that a successful instructional leader needs to promote the success of all students, helping them to feel empowered and excited about learning. I look forward to collaborating with teachers, students, and parents in order to promote student success. My ultimate goal as a K-8 assistant principal is to ensure the school maintains its high level of achievement by working as part of a dedicated school-wide team.
I look forward to meeting all of you. Please feel free to come by and see me. I’m delighted to begin working with such an incredible school community, and I look forward to our work together.
Sincerely,
Diane Mead
Beverly Vista, Assistant Principal
